Repair Procedures: Removal: WTS#1

Disconnect the negative battery terminal.
Remove the Intake manifold.
(Refer to Engine Mechanical System - "REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION ").
Disconnect the water temperature sensor connector (A).
Remove the water temperature sensor (B) after loosening the mounting bolt.
Tightening torque:

9.8 -11.8 N.m (1.0 - 1.2 kgf.m, 7.2 - 8.7 lb.ft)

Note that engine coolant may flow out from the water temperature control assembly when removing the sensor.
