Repair Procedures: Removal

  1. Perform the oil pressure characteristics backup procedure using the KDS when replacing with a new TCM.
    1. Click the "Oil-pressure Characteristics Back Up & Input (TCU Replacement)".

    2. Check the condition and then click the "OK".

    3. Click the "BackUp".

  2. Disconnect the battery negative terminal.
  3. Remove the TCM by loosening nuts after disconnecting the TCM connector (A).

    Tightening torque: 

    9.8 - 11.8 N.m (1.0 - 1.2 kgf.m, 7.2 - 8.7 lb.ft)
