Repair Procedures: Removal

1. Prior to replacing the AWD ECU, check the AWD ECU's clutch learning with the KDS tool.

   (Refer to AWD Control System - "ADJUSTMENT ")

2. Disconnect the battery negative cable from the battery.
3. Remove the luggage side trim. (LH side)

   (Refer to Body - "LUGGAGE SIDE TRIM ")

4. Disconnect the AWD ECU connector (A).

5. Remove the AWD ECU (A) after loosening the mounting nuts.

Tightening torque:

9.8 - 11.8 N.m (1.0 - 1.2 kgf.m, 7.2 - 8.7 lb.ft)
