Removal & Installation: Removal

Disconnect the battery negative (-) terminal.
Remove the air cleaner.
(Refer to Engine Mechanical System - "AIR CLEANER ")
Disconnect the Electronic Throttle Control (ETC) module connector (A).

Separate the engine wiring protector (A) after removing the mounting bolt and releasing the clip.
Tightening Torque:

8.8 - 10.7 N.m (0.9 - 1.1 kgf.m, 6.5 - 7.9 lb.ft)

Remove the surge tank stay (A) after removing the mounting bolts.
Tightening Torque:

18.6 - 23.5 N.m (1.9 - 2.4 kgf.m, 13.7 - 17.3 lb.ft)

Remove the ETC module (A) after removing the mounting bolts.
Tightening Torque:

8.8 - 10.7 N.m (0.9 - 1.1 kgf.m, 6.5 - 7.9 lb.ft)
