Removal & Installation: Removal

1. Disconnect the battery negative (-) terminal and the service interlock connector.

   (Refer to REMOVAL & INSTALLATION - 2WD

   (Refer to REMOVAL & INSTALLATION - 4WD

2. Remove the steering wheel.

   (Refer to Steering System - "STEERING WHEEL ")

3. Remove the steering column shroud panel.

   (Refer to Body - "STEERING COLUMN SHROUD PANEL ")

4. Disconnect the multifunction switch connectors (A).

5. Remove the multifunction switch (A) after removing the bolt.

Tightening torque: 

4.5 - 6.5 N.m (0.5 - 0.7 kgf.m, 3.3 - 4.8 lb.ft, 39.9 - 57.3 lb.in)
