- The Rail Pressure Sensor (RPS) is to measure the fuel pressure in the delivery pipe and transmits the voltage value to Engine Control Module (ECM).
- The Engine Control Module (ECM) uses the voltage signal to control the exact amount of fuel injection and the timing of injection and if the target fuel pressure differs from the actual pressure, ECM uses the fuel pressure control valve to control the fuel pressure.
