Electronic Throttle Control (ETC) Module: Cleaning

Remove the ETC.
(Refer to Electronic Throttle Control (ETC) Module - "REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION ")

NOTE: Cleaning the ETC after removing it.
Cleanse contaminated areas inside the throttle body except for the display area.

NOTE:
- Be careful not to let foreign matter inside of ETC.
- Do not spray cleaning fluid to ETC directly and use a lint free cloth moistened with throttle cleaning fluid.
- Be careful as fingers or cloth may get caught in the valve.
- Be careful not to wipe the coating liquid (displayed area) around the shaft. If the coating liquid is removed, a poor idle control may occur due to the inflow of foreign substances into the shaft inner bearing and an excessive amount of air leaking.
Install the ETC.
(Refer to Electronic Throttle Control (ETC) Module - "REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION ")
Reset the ECM adaptive values after replacing the ETC.

Perform the ETC learning procedure.
