Component Inspection

  1. Check the engine oil temperature with the KDS.
  2. Remove the engine room under cover.

    (Refer to Engine Mechanical System - " ENGINE ROOM UNDER COVER  ") 

  3. Disconnect the Oil Pressure & Temperature Sensor (OPTS) connector (A).

  4. Measure resistance between the OPTS terminals.

    Terminal Function
    1 Sensor ground
    4 Sensor
  5. Check that the resistance is within the specification.
