Removal & Installation: Removal

  1. Disconnect the battery negative (-) terminal.
  2. Remove the battery tray.

    (Refer to Engine Electrical System - "BATTERY ")

  3. Disconnect the Crankshaft Position Sensor (CKPS) connector (A).

  4. Separate the CKPS (A) from the bracket by pushing it in the direction of the arrow.

  5. Remove the CKPS (A) after removing the bolt.

    Tightening torque: 

    6.9 - 9.8 N.m (0.7 - 1.0 kgf.m, 5.1 - 7.2 lb.ft)
