Position Switch: Removal

  1. Shift the gear to N.
    NOTE: Use wheel chocks to prevent vehicle moved accidentally.
  2. Remove the battery.

    (Refer to Body Electrical System - "BATTERY ")

  3. Remove the air cleaner assembly.

    (Refer to Engine Mechanical System - "AIR CLEANER ")

  4. Remove the battery tray.

    (Refer to Body Electrical System - "BATTERY ")

  5. Disconnect the position switch connector (A).

  6. Remove the shift cable after removing the nut (A).

  7. Remove the manual control lever (A) and the washer after removing the nut.

  8. Remove the position switch (A) after removing the bolts.
