Removal & Installation: Removal
- Prior to replacing the AWD ECU, check the AWD ECU's clutch clearing with the KDS tool.
(Refer to AWD Control System - "ADJUSTMENT ")
- Disconnect the battery negative cable from the battery.
- Remove the luggage side trim. (LH side)
(Refer to Body - "LUGGAGE SIDE TRIM ")
- Disconnect the AWD ECU connector (A).
- Remove the AWD ECU (A) after loosening the mounting nuts.
Tightening torque:
9.8 - 11.8 N.m (1.0 - 1.2 kgf.m, 7.2 - 8.7 lb.ft)
