Removal And Installation: Installation

Install in reverse order of removal.

NOTE:

Install the Continuous Variable Valve Duration (CVVD) actuator to the specified torque.
If the CVVD actuator is dropped, it may cause internal damage. (Do not reuse)

When installing the CVVD actuator, insert dowel pin (B) certainly into the cam carrier hole after inserting the shaft (A).

Tighten the bolts in the following order.
(1) Pre-tighten -> (2) Tighten -> (3) Tighten -> (4) Tighten

Perform the "CVVD Intake Adaptation" after replacing the CVVD actuator.
(S/W Management → Engine Control → CVVD learning)
