Component Inspection

  1. Disconnect the Heated Oxygen Sensor (HO2S) connector (A).

    Front Heated Oxygen Sensor

  2. Measure resistance between the HO2S terminals.

    2 Heater (+)
    5 Heater (-)

    Rear Heated Oxygen Sensor

  3. Check that the resistance is within the specification.
    Item Specification
    Front heated oxygen sensor (Ω) 2.5 (Room temperature)
    Rear heated oxygen sensor (Ω) 3.0 (Room temperature)
