Removal And Installation: Removal

Disconnect the battery negative (-) terminal.
Remove the engine compartment under cover.
(Refer to Engine Mechanical System - " ENGINE ROOM UNDER COVER ")
Disconnect the Crankshaft Position Sensor (CKPS) connector (A).

Remove the connector (A) from the bracket (B) by pushing it in the direction of the arrow.

Remove the CKPS (A) and the wiring clip (B) after removing the bolt.
Tightening torque:

9.8 - 11.8 N.m (1.0 - 1.2 kgf.m, 7.2 - 8.7 lb.ft)
