Electronic Throttle Control (ETC) Module: Cleaning
- Remove the Electronic Throttle Control (ETC) module.

NOTE: Cleaning the ETC after removing it. - Using a cleaner and soft cloth to clean the contaminated area inside the throttle body.NOTE:
- Be careful not to get foreign matter into the ETC.
- Do not spray cleaning fluid to ETC directly and use a lint free cloth moistened with throttle cleaning fluid.
- Be careful as fingers or cloth may get caught in the valve.
- Be careful not to wipe the coating liquid (displayed area) around the shaft. If the coating liquid is removed, a poor idle control may occur due to the inflow of foreign matters into the shaft inner bearing and an excessive amount of air leaking.
- Install the ETC module.
