Removal And Installation: Removal

Perform the IVT oil pressure characteristics backup procedure using the KDS when replacing with a new ECM.
1. Select the "Oil-pressure Characteristics input" in the S/W Management of KDS.
2. Select Backup.
Remove the battery.
(Refer to Engine Electrical System - " BATTERY REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION ")
Disconnect the Engine Control Module (ECM) connectors (A).

Remove the ECM (A) after removing the bolts.
Tightening torque:

9.8 - 11.8 N.m (1.0 - 1.2 kgf.m, 7.2 - 8.7 lb.ft)

Remove the ECM (A) from the bracket after removing the nuts.
Tightening torque:

9.8 - 11.8 N.m (1.0 - 1.2 kgf.m, 7.2 - 8.7 lb.ft)
