Removal And Installation: Removal

Perform the adaptive value back up & input procedures after replacing AWD ECU.
(Refer to AWD Control System - "ADJUSTMENT ")
Disconnect the battery negative (-) terminal.
Remove the front seat assembly.
(Refer to Body - " FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY ")
Disconnect the AWD ECU connector (A).

Remove the nuts, and then remove the AWD ECU (A).
Tightening torque:

9.8 - 11.8 N.m (1.0 - 1.2 kgf.m, 7.2 - 8.7 lb.ft)
