ETC (Electronic Throttle Control) System: Cleaning
- Remove the Electronic Throttle Control (ETC).
(Refer to ETC (Electronic Throttle Control) System - " REMOVAL ")
NOTE: Cleaning the ETC after removing it. - Clean the pollutant in the throttle body using a soft cloth moistened with cleaning fluid.NOTE:
- Do not spray cleaning fluid to ETC directly and use a lint free cloth moistened by cleaning fluid.
- Be careful not to wipe the coating fluid around the shaft for preventing faulty controlling idle by flow contaminant into shaft internal bearing and excessive leakage air.
- Install the ETC module.

- Perform the order below with the KDS.
(S/W Management → Engine Control → Resetting Adaptive Values)
