• When the ECM detects an irregularity, it records the diagnostic trouble code, and outputs the signal to the Data Link connector.
• DTC codes are not deleted even if IG OFF.

Information 

• Low battery voltage can degrade self-diagnosis and the malfunction cannot be detected, so check the battery voltage and other conditions before inspection.
• If a sensor or actuator connector is disconnected with the IG turned on, the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is recorded. In this case, disconnect the battery negative terminal (-) for 15 seconds or more, and the diagnosis memory will be erased.
• DTC code can be deleted by disconnecting the battery terminal when deleting the DTC code, but in this case, the learning data inside the ECM is also deleted at the same time. Therefore, KDS should be used.
