Examine distributor cover. Distributor cover should be clean, dry and have no tracking marks. Examine coil top. Coil top should be, clean, dry and have no tracking marks. Examine high tension cable insulation. High tension cable insulation must not be cracked, chafed or perished. Examine high tension cable continuity. High tension cable continuity must not be open circuit. Examine spark plugs. Spark plugs should be clean, dry and set to correct gap. Note reluctor must not foul pick-up or leads. Rotor and insulation cover must not be cracked or show signs of tracking marks.
