@ 2000 RPM 5 Degrees & 30 Minutes To 8 Degrees & 30 Minutes BTDC
9.35:1 Compression Engine
With Catalyst
@ 800 RPM 2 To 4 Degrees BTDC
@ 1400 RPM 6 Degrees & 18 Minutes To 8 Degrees & 30 Minutes BTDC
@ 2200 RPM 5 Degrees & 30 Minutes To 8 Degrees & 30 Minutes BTDC
Without Catalyst
@ 650 RPM 1 To 3 Degrees BTDC

(1) See ENGINE IDENTIFICATION CODE  under INTRODUCTION.
(2) Check ignition timing advance with engine decelerating and vacuum advance disconnected.
(3) Manufacturer breaks up the degree specification into minutes for more accurate calculations. 60 minutes is equal to one degree.
