Rotor Arm Test
Remove distributor cap. Disconnect secondary ignition coil wire from distributor cap and hold it about 0.13" (3 mm) above rotor arm electrode, using suitable insulated pliers. Crank engine. See Fig 1 . There should be no sparking between rotor arm and secondary ignition coil wire. If there is no sparking, go to VISUAL CHECK . If sparking occurs, install new rotor arm. If engine still does not start, go to VISUAL CHECK .
