DTC P0441 & P0443: Pre-Advanced EVAP System Malfunction: Notes

NOTE: DTC P0441 and DTC P0443 apply to the Standard EVAP Loss Control (ELC) system also known as Pre-Advanced EVAP control systems.
NOTE: The advanced EVAP system was introduced on all North American specification vehicles from October 1996 and the vehicles can be recognized by the information contained in the EVAP FAMILY entry on the underhood emission label (mounted on the vertical face of the hood lock platform). Vehicles equipped with advanced EVAPS start with VIN No. VLR1124AYPFE. Vehicles not equipped with advanced EVAPS end with VIN No. VLR1060AYPBC.
