DTC P0460-P0461: Fuel Level Sensor Malfunction: Notes

NOTE: If fuel gauge is not operating properly, fuel gauge must be repaired before proceeding with diagnostics and/or repairs.

NOTE: The advanced EVAP system was introduced on all North American specification vehicles from October 1996 and the vehicles can be recognized by the information contained in the EVAP FAMILY entry on the underhood emission label (mounted on the vertical face of the hood lock platform). Vehicles equipped with advanced EVAPS start with VIN No. VLR1124AYPFE. Vehicles not equipped with advanced EVAPS end with VIN No. VLR1060AYPBC.
