On 1997 Discovery models, an incorrectly installed fuel filler cap may cause CHECK ENGINE MIL to illuminate.
NOTE:
Malfunction Indicator Light (MIL) cannot be used to retrieve and display Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs).
