Advanced EVAP System (Discovery): Notes
CAUTION:
Use only nitrogen gas to pressurize EVAP system. Compressed air can only be used to pressurize an EVAP system and fuel tank that has NEVER contained fuel. When compressed air and fuel vapors are mixed, they become highly volatile.
NOTE:
Temperature differences between vehicle and test equipment can cause misleading test results because of expansion and contraction of test gases during test. Ensure vehicle and test equipment temperatures are similar.
