Discovery II
- Roll vehicle backwards and forwards to settle linkage. Install alignment equipment according to manufacturer's instructions. Check toe adjustment. See WHEEL ALIGNMENT SPECIFICATIONS . If toe adjustment is not within specification, go to next step. If toe adjustment is within specification, ensure track rod clamp 8 mm bolts are tightened to 16 ft. lbs. (22 N.m) and 10 mm bolts are tightened to 24 ft. lbs. (33 N.m).
- Loosen clamp bolts at both ends of track rod. See Fig 1. Rotate track rod to increase or decrease toe adjustment. Tighten track rod clamp 8 mm bolts to 16 ft. lbs. (22 N.m) and 10 mm bolts to 24 ft. lbs. (33 N.m). Recheck front wheel alignment.
