Air Intake-Plenum: Removal

Release hood support stays, raise and secure hood in upright position.
Disconnect battery ground lead. See BATTERY DISCONNECT & RECONNECT .
Remove hood sealing rubber from air intake molding. See Fig 1.
Release cover from positive cable.
Remove nut and disconnect positive cable from stud. See Fig 2.
Remove 2 nuts securing air intake plenum assembly and remove assembly. See Fig 3.

NOTE: Do not carry out further dismantling if component is removed for access only.
