Electronic Throttle Interface Description
The Electronic Throttle Interface consists of 2 PWM output drives to control the throttle blade position, with 2 analogue signals for throttle position feedback. The 2 position signals have inverted characteristics. See Fig 1 .
There are three Electronic Throttle diagnostic checks, a fault is detected if:
- The battery voltage is greater than 7 volts and the difference between the actual and target throttle position is greater than 4%.
- Throttle Control
Unable to learn the lower mechanical stop position. - Throttle Control
Return spring problem.
