Fuel Tank Level Sensor Description

There are three fuel level sensor diagnostic checks. See Fig 1 . A fault is detected if:

1. The fuel consumption calculated by the ECM and the change in the fuel tank level differs by 15%.
2. The fuel level signal received from the instrument pack is greater than or equal to 127%.
3. No fuel level signal has been received from the instrument pack within the last 2.5 seconds.
