ISSUE

JLR have recently released the Inline Diagnostic Unit 2 (IDU2) and Noise Vibration and Harshness (NVH) sensor to the global retailer network reference, Special Service Tool Release Note LSST067v2 & SDD News, Hints & Tips SDD Newsletter (issue 006v2) on TOPIx

This equipment allows complex diagnostic routines to be run simply, quickly and reliably.

These new tools are available within SDD and are designed to provide a clear pass/fail result.

These applications are mapped within SDD to the relevant symptoms and are available under the recommendations tab.

CAUSE

JLR are constantly monitoring the use of the equipment and the results of the tests performed. This data is used to improve the diagnostic capabilities of the equipment.

ACTION

Retailer feedback is important to ensure that this equipment is performing as expected and any issues with the equipment also useable in the retailer.

Please submit an EPQR (Under select report Diagnostic) with a full description of the issue you have with the IDU2/MVH equipment or SDD applications or use the SDD feedback system to report any issues
