NOTE: Only applicable to early type key fitted up to 12 model year.

Reports of key case bulging. See attached photo.

Keys were manufactured oversize.

A number of improvements were made to the manufacture of the key when production moved from Cadiz, Spain to Yanfeng, China. See attachement.

The country of Manufacture can be identified by unclipping the emergency key blade.
With the clip for the emergency key blade at the bottom view the block of text to the left of the CE mark
Keys from Cadiz, Spain have 'Made in Spain'
Key from Yanfeng China have 'Made in China'

EPQR's are only required for issues with keys manufactured in China.
