For RKE trouble shooting, see Fig 1. Numbers in chart refer to order in which circuits or components should be tested. If the instruction "proceed to next circuit inspection in system tests index table" is given in the flow chart for each circuit, proceed to the circuit with the next number in the table to continue the check.
NOTE:
Trouble shooting is based on the premise that the RKE system is operating normally.
If the trouble still reappears even though there are no abnormalities in any other circuit, then check or replace the theft deterrent ECU as the last step.
