Ignition Coils

  1. Turn ignition off. Disconnect wires from ignition coil. Using a DVOM, check primary coil resistance on ignition coil. See Fig 1. For resistance specifications, see IGNITION COIL RESISTANCE  table.

Primary Circuit .41-.50
Secondary Circuit 10,200-13,800
(1) Specification is with ignition coil cold.
