A/C Clutch Relay Control

  1. A/C clutch relay is located in junction block No. 2. See Figure or Figure.
  2. Use an ohmmeter to check for continuity between relay terminals No. 1 and 3. See Figure-32. Ensure no continuity exists between relay terminals No. 2 and 4. If continuity is not as specified, replace relay.
  3. Apply battery voltage between relay terminals No. 1 and 3. Using an ohmmeter, check for continuity between relay terminals No. 2 and 4 on ES250 or terminals No. 1 and 2 on LS400. If continuity is not present, replace relay.
