No-Load Test

Connect battery and ammeter to starter as shown. Refer to step No. 4. See Figure and Fig 1 . Under no-load test, starter armature should rotate smoothly and steadily. Amperage draw should be within specification. See NO-LOAD TEST SPECIFICATIONS  table.
