Fuel Cut System
- Start and warm engine to operating temperature. Turn A/C off. Connect tachometer test probe to check connector terminal IG.NOTE: DO NOT allow tachometer terminal to touch ground as it could result in damage to igniter and/or ignition coil. Some tachometers may not be compatible with ignition system.
- Increase engine speed to 3000 RPM (GS300) or 2500 RPM (all others) and check for injector operating noise. See FUEL CUT RPM SPECIFICATIONS table. When throttle lever is released, injector operating noise should stop momentarily, then resume. See FUEL CUT RPM SPECIFICATIONS table. Remove tachometer.
