ACIS Circuit

  1. Check ACIS Vacuum Switching Valve (VSV). See Figure. See ACIS VACUUM SWITCHING VALVE (VSV) . If VSV is okay, remove glove box. Turn ignition on. Leave harness connectors attached to ECM. Measure voltage between chassis ground and terminal No. 6 (Red/Yellow wire) of ECM connector E9. To identify ECM connectors and terminals, see Figure in PIN VOLTAGE CHARTS article in the ENGINE PERFORMANCE section.
  2. If battery voltage is not present, repair circuit between VSV and ECM. If battery voltage is present, check vacuum tank. See ACIS VACUUM TANK . If vacuum tank is okay, replace ECM.
