ECM Installation

(See COMPONENTS FOR REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION )

  1. INSTALL ECM
    1. Install the ECM with the 3 nuts.
  2. INSTALL LOWER INSTRUMENT PANEL PAD
    1. (a) Connect the 4 connectors to the ECM. (b) Install the lower instrument pad with the 5 bolts.
  3. INSTALL GLOVE COMPARTMENT
    1. (a) Connect the compartment light connector. (b) Run the wiring harness connector (for the airbag) through the compartment hole. (c) Install the compartment with the 5 clips. (d) Install the lift check arm. (e) Connect the right check arm to the compartment door. (f) Install the 2 compartment panels.
  4. INSTALL INSTRUMENT PANEL UNDER COVER
    1. (a) Install the step light to the under cover. (b) Install the under cover with the 3 clips.
  5. CONNECT NEGATIVE TERMINAL CABLE TO BATTERY
