Anti-Lock Brake System: Description

Some models are equipped with an optional Traction Control (TRAC) system, which is integrated with the ABS system. Anti-Lock Brake System (ABS) consists of hydraulic unit, ABS warning light, ABS Electronic Control Unit (ECU), actuator, three 3-position actuator solenoids (without TRAC) or four 3-position actuator solenoids (with TRAC), accumulator and pump motor (with TRAC), ABS computer and 4 wheel speed sensors.
