Fuel Pump Operation (Using Fuel Pump Connector)
WARNING:
To prevent sparking near the fuel tank in the following procedure, make final connections at test battery.
CAUTION:
To prevent fuel pump damage, DO NOT operate fuel pump for more than 10 seconds.
Remove rear seat cushion and seat back. Disconnect 5-pin connector from fuel pump and sending unit assembly. Apply battery voltage across Blue/Black and White/Black wire terminals of 5-pin connector. Fuel pump is operating if pulsations can be felt in fuel pressure hose or if noise from fuel return can be heard.
