Self-Diagnostic System: Notes

NOTE: Diagnostic charts at end of article contain references to Traction Control (TRAC) system. These references are necessary to complete repairs of ABS failure. However, these diagnostic charts do not diagnose TRAC system.

NOTE: Ensure battery is in good condition and is fully charged. DO NOT start engine when retrieving codes. If codes cannot be retrieved, perform ABS WARNING LIGHT CIRCUIT test and Tc TERMINAL CIRCUIT test. See CIRCUIT TESTS . If problem remains, replace ABS ECU.
