Test No. 9, Power Mirror Control Switch Circuit

Remove appropriate components to access power mirror control switch 10-pin connector. Disconnect power mirror control switch 10-pin connector. Check for continuity between specified terminals of power mirror control switch. See Fig 1. See POWER MIRROR CONTROL SWITCH TEST table. If continuity is not as specified, replace power mirror control switch. If continuity is as specified, repair or replace wiring harness between appropriate power mirror control switch and tilt/telescopic ECU.

Down 4 & 7; 3 & 8
Left 4 & 9; 7 & 8
Right 4 & 7; 8 & 9
Passenger's Switch
Off (Neutral) (1)
Up 1, 7 & 8; 2 & 4
Down 1, 2 & 8; 4 & 7
Left 1, 7 & 8; 4 & 10
Right 4 & 7; 2, 8 & 10
(1) Continuity should not exist between any terminals.
