Self-Diagnostic System: Notes

NOTE: Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) testing contain references to Traction Control (TRAC) system. References are made to complete repairs of ABS system. However, these DTC's do not specifically diagnose TRAC system. See appropriate TRACTION CONTROL article.

NOTE: Ensure battery is in good condition and is fully charged. DO NOT start engine when retrieving codes. If codes cannot be retrieved, perform ABS WARNING LIGHT CIRCUIT test and Tc TERMINAL CIRCUIT test. See CIRCUIT TESTS . If problem remains, replace ABS ECU.
