Throttle Controls: Dashpot

Shift transmission into Neutral. Run engine at operating temperature. Ensure idle speed is 650-750 RPM. Push dashpot rod all the way with a screwdriver and verify engine speed. If engine speed is not as specified, turn dashpot adjusting screw as necessary. See DASHPOT RPM SPECIFICATIONS  table.
