General Note

NOTE: Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) testing contains references to Traction Control (TRAC) system. References are made to complete repairs of ABS system. However, these DTC do not specifically diagnose TRAC system. See TRACTION CONTROL article.

NOTE: Ensure battery is in good condition and is fully charged. DO NOT start engine when retrieving codes. If codes cannot be retrieved, perform ABS WARNING LIGHT CIRCUIT test and Tc TERMINAL CIRCUIT test. See CIRCUIT TESTS . If problem remains, replace ABS ECU.
