Abs Motor Relay

  1. Ensure ABS motor relay is removed. Using ohmmeter, measure resistance between relay terminals No. 3 and 4. See Figure. Resistance should be approximately 62 ohms. Check continuity between terminals No. 1 and 2. Continuity should not exist. Replace relay if any preceding tests are not as specified. Go to next step.
  2. Connect positive battery voltage to terminal No. 3 on ABS motor relay and negative battery voltage to terminal No. 4. Check continuity between terminals No. 1 and 2. Continuity should exist. Replace relay if any preceding tests are not as specified.
