Throttle Position (TP) Sensor

TP SENSOR RESISTANCE SPECIFICATIONS

Application Terminals Ohms @ 68°F (20°C)
ES300 & RX300 (1)
Throttle Fully Closed VTA & E2 200-6300
Throttle Fully Open VTA & E2 2000-10,200
VC & E2 2500-5900
GS300 & SC300 VC & E2 (2) 1200-3200
GS400, LS400, LX470 & SC400 VC & E2 (2) 1250-2350
(1) Apply vacuum to throttle opener before checking TP sensor. Check resistance between specified terminals with throttle fully closed and throttle fully open.
(2) Resistance at 68°F (20°C).
