Removal & Installation : SC300: Removal

NOTE: Work must be started after 90 seconds from the time the ignition switch is turned to the "LOCK" position and the negative (-) terminal cable is disconnected from the battery.

Disconnect negative battery cable.
Remove engine undercover.

NOTE: The pulley bolt for the belt tensioner has a lefthand thread.

Remove drive belt. Loosen the belt tension by turning the drive belt tensioner counterclockwise, and remove the drive belt.
On A/T models, remove the bolt and pipe clamp. Disconnect the 2 A/T oil cooler pipes from the generator.
Remove generator. Disconnect the generator connector. Remove the cap and nut, and disconnect the generator wire. Remove the bolt, and disconnect transmission oil cooler pipe bracket from the generator. Remove the nut and generator.
