Key Off Function Inoperative
- Turn ignition on. Attempt to operate windows using automatic function. If automatic function operates, go to next step. If automatic function does not operate, go to step 6.
- Close all doors. Place courtesy light switch in DOOR position. If courtesy light illuminates when driver's door is opened, go to step 4. If courtesy light does not illuminate, go to next step.
- Measure voltage between ground and terminal of door courtesy switch located on door pillar. If battery voltage is present, replace door courtesy switch. If battery voltage is not present, repair Red/Green wire. See WIRING DIAGRAMS .
- Disconnect integration relay connector "B"and appropriate power window motor harness connectors. Check for continuity between integration relay terminal B3 and driver's power window motor in Red/Black wire, Red/Yellow wire and Red/White wire. If continuity is present in each wire, go to next step. If continuity is not present in each wire, repair appropriate wire. See WIRING DIAGRAMS .
- Reconnect harness connectors. Open driver's door. Measure voltage between ground and specified terminals of appropriate power window motor as ignition switch is turned OFF-ON-OFF. See VOLTAGE SPECIFICATIONS table. If voltage is as specified, replace appropriate power window motor. If voltage is not as specified, replace integration relay.
- Turn ignition on. Close windows manually using master switch. Lower appropriate window 1.969" (50 mm). Attempt automatic operation with ignition on. If automatic operation is inoperative, go to next step. If automatic operation is okay, system is okay at this time.
- Check master switch. See MASTER SWITCH under COMPONENT TESTS. Replace if necessary. If master switch is okay, go to next step.
- Disconnect master switch and appropriate power window motor harness connectors. Check for continuity in Gray wire between master switch and front passenger's power window motor. See WIRING DIAGRAMS . If continuity is present, replace front passenger's power window motor assembly. If continuity is not present, repair Gray wire.
